After ECW One Night Stand ended, the ECW wrestlers left the ring one by one and returned to the locker room. Tommy Dreamer, who had been sitting on the floor watching the final battle, rolled into the ring and looked around the building. Dreamer began crying and got on his knees, bowing to the ECW logo on the ring. The crowd chanted, “Thank you Tommy.” He then kissed the logo. The Dudley Boyz returned to the ring and embraced Dreamer, with Bubba saying, “This is all for you.” Dreamer rolled out of the ring, hugged some fans at ringside and slowly made his way to the locker room.
During the brawl to end the show, John Bradshaw Layfield obviously targeted the Blue Meanie and shot all over him, stiffing him bigtime and bloodying him. He wound up reopening the gashes on the back of Meanie’s head from Friday’s Hardcore Homecoming show.
When they were off camera, a number of the Raw and Smackdown wrestlers continued to interact with the fans.
