The show opened with Joey Styles, who was very emotional. He brought out Mick Foley as his broadcast colleague.
LANCE STORM VS “LIONHEART” CHRIS JERICHO
Jericho came out dressed like a retro version of himself. This was a good opener but as was the story of the night, the match was too short. Lance did a cool move where he leapt to the top rope and jumped back into a dropkick. Justin Credible and Jason interfered and canned Jericho to allow Storm to get the pin.

Pitbull Gary Wolfe introduced a tribute for those that have passed away including Anthony Durante (Pitbull 1), Chris Candido, Big Dick Dudley, Rocco Rock, Mike Lozansky, Terry Gordy, Michael Lockwood and The Original Sheik.
SUPER CRAZY VS TAJIRI VS LITTLE GUIDO
Guido came out with Big Guido, Tracy Smothers, J.T Smith and Tony Mamaluke. Sinister Minister and Mikey Whipwreck were in Tajiri’s corner. The big spot was Crazy doing a moonsault off the balcony. Whipwreck hit a whipper snapper on Guido off the top to allow Tajiri to eliminate him. Crazy hit a moonsault on Tajiri for the win.

PSICOSIS VS REY MYSTERIO
Psicosis took off his mask before the match and fans chanted “Put your mask on”. Psicosis hit a guillotine onto Rey on the guardrail from the top rope, which looked insane. Fan vehemently booed the 619 when Rey pulled that out, he then hit a huracanrana for the win.

The “Smackdown” crew arrived and JBL and Angle cut promos on the crowd. This led to RVD coming out with Bill Alfonso. RVD said this promo wasn’t scripted and the writers in WWE never let him talk. He put over the show and how he would rather work this show tonight than WrestleMania. Rhyno jumped in the ring and gored RVD, the lights went out and that led to…
RHYNO VS SABU
Sabu pulled out all the tables and they had your typical hardcore match with Sabu getting the win after an Arabian face crusher off the top onto Rhyno on the table with a chair.

CHRIS BENOIT VS EDDY GUERRERO
This was a really good match but again way too short. Guerrero played the heel in this match and stuck with his character. Benoit won with the crossface clean.

MIKE AWESOME VS MASATO TANAKA
I will apologize, I thought this would be terrible. Awesome was not only in great shape but these two had the match of the night. I was shocked. They had a similar match to their classics from 1999. Tanaka took a ton of punishment including an Awesome bomb off the apron onto a table. Awesome hit a frog splash for a 2 count. Joey Styles was burying Awesome all match for leaving ECW when he was champion for WCW. Tanaka hit a tornado DDT onto the chairs. Finish came when Awesome Awesome bombed Tanaka over the top rope and onto the tables, Awesome dived over the top rope and pinned him on the floor.
WINNER: Mike Awesome at 9:52
Paul Heyman came out and just shot on everyone. In particular he looked at Edge in the balcony and said “Hide your wives” and then said he had two words for him…”Matt freakin’ Hardy”. He told JBL the only reason he was champion for a year is because HHH doesn’t work Tuesdays. The funniest line was when he first came out and was crying and said “I’m not crying, my eyes are just red from smoking a joint in the back with RVD”.
THE SANDMAN & TOMMY DREAMER VS THE DUDLEY BOYZ
Before this started, the Blue World Order came out and they did a brawl with a bunch of guys. Kid Kash came out during a brawl where Styles called him “Total Nonstop Attitude”. When the match started this was just a hardcore fest. Dreamer had the crimson mask. The Impact Players did a run in and brought in Francine who hit Dreamer with a low blow, which led to Beulah coming out and a catfight. Dreamer and Beulah hugged and did a double DDT on the Dudley’s (Beulah’s was terrible). Finish came when The Dudley’s put Dreamer through a flaming table.
WINNER: The Dudley Boyz at 10:15
The Sandman was calling for a beer and that led to Steve Austin coming out. Austin called all the WWE and ECW guys into the ring and they all brawled with ECW getting rid of the WWE guys. They then brought Eric Bischoff into the ring where he was 3D’d, he got a diving headbutt from Benoit and a 619 from Mysterio and then Dudley’s through him out of the building.
Finishing shot was Austin and The Sandman drinking a beer.
