Lance Storm announced on his website, stormwrestling.com, today that he has given WWE his notice and will be leaving the company in July. Storm worked for OVW in the past months, helping new talent, and giving back to the business that he so dearly loved. The company and wrestler part ways in perfect terms, and Storm mentions that he might return some day. His last appearance will be at the ECW One Night Stand PPV. He wrote the following on his site…
My life and career are taking yet another strange turn. After long debate with my wife, I’ve decided it was time to get off the road completely, and stay home with my family. Last week I gave my notice to WWE and we will be parting ways at the end of my current contract this July. The office and I are parting on great terms and will continue to keep in touch, as we are both open to the possibility of working together again in the future. I can’t thank WWE enough for everything it has afforded me over the past 4 years.
“I am currently searching for a building to house my school and hope to be up and running this September. Nick (my web guy) is working on a new section to my website, which will deal with the school, and should have more details posted in a few weeks. If you’ve ever thought about getting into Pro-Wrestling this will be your chance to be trained by Lance Storm, in The Wrestling Capitol of the World, Calgary…Alberta, Canada.”
