Jim Cornette, the man behind OVW and a WWE legend, has been given a leave of absence by the company. He will not be working with OVW for the next five weeks. WWE felt that Cornette has been burnt out by working hard week after week for quite some time now, and based on the quality of the last two weekly TVs, they made their decision final. In other words, Cornette will be taking a “forced vacation” (but quite deserved) so he can get some rest and reconnect with things upon his return.
In the meanwhile, Tommy Dreamer, Al Snow, and Danny Davis will be running tihngs in OVW, from writing the weekly scripts to booking the 6/3 show at Six Flags.
