I’m sure you all heard about the unfortunate injury that Chris Candido suffered at the TNA PPV this past Sunday, as reported on our site by Joe. Candido did end up having a surgery earlier today for two broken bones in his leg. He is expected to be at the TNA tapings and probably do some management from a wheelchair until he’s fully healed. He’ll also be doing the Xplosion commentary until then. We wish Chris the best of health and a speedy recovery from this serious injury.
TNA introduced its wrestlers to Frank Dickenson before the PPV on Sunday night. Dickenson, who comes from a non-wrestling background, will be playing the role of new CEO, as well as CFO of the company. All I have to say to him is Good Luck, because he’s going to need it.
Abyss suffered what’s said to be a separated shoulder at the TNA Lockdown PPV in his match against AJ Styles. For those who missed the show, this was said to be a tremendous bout. As far as the LockDown PPV goes, the common opinion on-line has been that although a good show, it wasn’t the best TNA has offered.
