MY VOTE:I BELIEVE THAT HE WIELDS MORE POWER THAN HE LETS ON-HHH in just about every
interview, puts on his fake smile and repeatedly denies having ANY power in the company outside of being World Champion. When you are married to the bosses daughter, you can have a lot more power than anyone else in the locker room. Regardless, I thought it was interesting that even the biggest HHH fans didn’t deny any power that he might wield. Apparently, just about everyone believes there is something going on.
2)Who do you believe is more deserving to be inducted to a NON-WWE Hall Of Fame?

MY VOTE:STING-This question actually came to fruition during a 30 minute debate between Dougie Nunny and I. Nunny believes that Foley is more worthy of a hall of fame ballot and I strongly disagree. Following this friendly debate, I began to wonder if I was nuts, but apparently I am not. The 8 time World Champion and largest draw in WCW’s history (yes way above Greenberg) clearly beat out the over-pushed and talentless Foley. Truly there are still some WWE “marks” that bought into Vinnie Mac’s Foley hype.

MY VOTE:STING-Clearly I am a huge Sting mark, but I also believe that there is a ton to work with as far as Sting goes. He’s never feuded with most of the WWE’s upper echelon of talent and I believe the fans would love to see him feud with many of those guys.

MY VOTE:CHRISTY HEMME-I honestly can’t stand Christy Hemme. Her amount of T.V. time makes me want to vomit. I see most of the public agrees with me. I don’t believe that she is drawing ANY money and should be given minimal television time AT BEST. Suprisingly, HHH got only 19% of the vote and Christian had none.
As far as Jeff Jarrett goes, he’s been getting too much T.V. time for the last 10 years, so not much has changed.
5)Do you agree with WWE’s decision to put the WWE Title on John Bradshaw Leyfield for 11 months?

MY VOTE-NO-Bradshaw went from not having any television time, to being the world champion inside a week or 2. In the 8 years prior that he’d been with the WWE, they never once tried to push him as a singles wrestler. A wrestler who doesn’t beat anyone noteworthy and has no build up for his character clearly should not be handed a World Title push, never the less the World Title itself. The couple of good things that came out of Bradshaw’s title run were a lot of humor and a much needed lengthy title run. Overall, I was surprised how many people defended Bradshaw.
6)Which promotion do you feel is in the best position to become a legitimate rival to the WWE?

MY VOTE:RING OF HONOR-NWA-TNA winning by a landslide was not a surprise to me. I believe that ROH has a few better things going on than NWA-TNA. Ring Of Honor is either developing their own stars or taking stars that haven’t peaked and bringing out their very best (although I don’t see Samoa Joe being the next Hogan or Austin). I also like the “petition for a title shot” and “code of honor” stipulations that ROH has. NWA-TNA doesn’t offer anything original in the way of character development. The X-Division is amazing, but taking the UFC Octagon, taking out 2 sides and using ropes instead of a cage is hardly a genius enough idea to make a multi-million dollar wrestling company. Not to mention using has-been’s and WCW’s sloppy seconds isn’t helping the heavily in debt TNA promotion.

MY VOTE:THE WRESTLING CROSSFIRE-I was surprised at how many people don’t listen to or watch Internet Wrestling Shows. Many of you don’t know what you are missing. Every one of the shows I named has something different and entertaining to offer.

MY VOTE:BETTER-I think many readers confuse reporters with columnists. Regardless, I believe that Internet Reporters are much more credible now than they were 5 years ago. Do you guys see all the shameless plugs on the bottom of news reports that read “Stephanie McMahon NUDE…***CLICK HERE!!!!***”? Well those use to be ACTUAL HEADLINES! Things have changed for the better and I am a happier columnist and wrestling fan because of it.

MY VOTE:TOUGH ENOUGH (ORIGINAL FORMAT)-It was close for me between the original TE and The Brawl For All. I stayed glued to the television every week during the first 3 Tough Enough’s. The 2004 version was a horrid joke that saw a wan na be with limited skills get a million dollar pay day. As a matter of fact, half of the segments were a “work”. The Diva search did nothing but annoy the whole time it was around. Don’t get me wrong, I love beautiful women as much as the next guy, but this contest took up half of Raw’s television time and saw the most beautiful women in the contest lose.
