Hey everyone,
I have switched styles once again, going from the News Fix update to news posting here and there. It’s easier for me, and it’s really just a “decision of the moment” type of situation. Please let me know which you prefer – news posts or a News Fix column by emailing me at eddie@thebalrogslair.com. Thank you in advance!
The ratings are in and it’s very good news for WWE. RAW scored a solid 3.9 rating (5.9 share), off of hours of 3.8 and 4.0. The show in Japan certainly helped that. What has to be considered the best episode of Ultimate Fighter so far scored a 1.7 rating, the show’s highest score up to date. What occurred on the show also guarantees a high rating next week. It should be interesting.
Bob Ryder doesn’t stop. Not only did Frankie Kazarian leave TNA earlier today (and Ryder must have gotten plenty of heat on the fact that Kazarian was working without a valid contract), but Walt Wilson, Vice President of Marketing for TNA (hired in April of 2004) has left the company as well. Wilson, who has a background in the music industry, was known to have butted heads with Ryder over several issues. Jennifer Switzer, who was brought into TNA several weeks ago for a different position, will now be switched to marketing. No news as to what was the reason behind Wilson’s decisions. He is currently looking for a new job.
