The fast national rating for this week’s edition of SmackDown came in a 3.3 this week. Way lower than what the show has been doing recently. The final rating should reflect that, as well. Half of SmackDown was pre-empted in Richmond, VA.
The RVD DVD, One of a Kind, will be officially released everywhere on Tuesday. Some HMV stores in Canada already have the DVD.
No Way Out will be airing on regular Sky Sports 1 in the United Kingtom instead of on PPV. Hello to all our UK readers!
Speaking of No Way Out, WWE has been pretty open about the main event of the PPV, as they’ve gone as far as playing PPV ads in Canadian movie theatres. The ads say that the PPV will feature JBL and Big Show in a barbed wire cage match. One can’t help but wonder why WWE would do this before this Sunday’s match.
From what I hear, Super Crazy will see some of WWE’s management on their cruise to Japan for TV tapings.
Stay tuned for more Royal Rumble coverage this weekend on TBL, with columns, and our own Roundtable!
