Be advised that the following article might contain some potential spoilers for August’s WWE PPV – SummerSlam
Chris Jericho has been given a contract extension by WWE, which he’s yet to sign as of a few days ago. Several people on the Internet have reported that he’s gone from the company, which is incorrect. Although it’s not sure what Jericho’s future with the company will be following SummerSlam, one thing is for sure – Fozzy is scheduled to do more touring after the PPV, including an actual tour, which means Jericho will be missing a lot of dates, if he was to stay with the company. Because Y2J hasn’t signed his contract extension yet, WWE is under the impression that he will not be with them after the PPV, which is why the company has no plans for him in the month of August. That should remain unchaned, unless Jericho signs with them. We’ll keep you updated on the issue.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, it’s pretty much a lock that Cena will win at SummerSlam, or at least, will not lose his title.
