While not announced yet Pride is said to be very close on Yuki Kondo vs. Mario Sperry and Quinton Jackson vs. Ikuhisa Minowa for New Year’s Eve.
While we don’t have exact numbers, first day ticket sales for Royal Rumble yesterday at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia were said to be strong but it didn’t sellout first day.

The festive season is once again upon us, and although I am looking forward to enjoying copius amounts of Jack Daniels and tons of turkey over the next fortnight, I am more excited right now about some announcements that we shall be making in January.
In January we shall be taking on several staff on a part-time basis to look after our online content and handle our online press. We have already begun production on some short videos to hype ‘Revolution’, and these will be shown via the dedicated website for ‘Revolution’, which will be launched in the New Year also. Also in January we shall announce on sale dates for ‘Revolution’. Tickets are priced at and and will be available to purchase from The Dome, Doncaster and also via Ticketmaster. We can exclusively announce today that ‘Revolution’ will also feature a 10man Battle Royal. There is a huge stipulation in this Battle Royal, with the winner getting a match of THEIR CHOICE at a future X Wrestling event later in 2004! Many are already indicating they want a spot in this huge 10man over-the-top-rope event, and the lucky participants shall be announced in early 2004.
Talk continues to swirl around WWE that roster cuts are looming after the first of the year. That has been the word around the company for the last month or so.
Tapes of The Rock’s media appearances are all over the place this week. Tomorrow night a tape of a September show with Rock airs on Conan O’Brien. The VH-1 Driven special on Rock airs at 11 p.m. Eastern and 8 p.m. Pacific tonight on VH-1.
