Jakks Toys is producing WWF Classic action figures with a 1996 Shawn Michaels, old school Undertaker, HHH with his 1996 gimmick and the IC title belt, Bret Hart from 1996, old Andre the Giant and Ultimate Warrior.
They did a taped angle at the Zero-One PPV show at Sumo Hall in Tokyo earlier today involving Bill Goldberg. There was a tape of Nobuhiko Takada on the screen, saying he had the biggest U.S. pro wrestling star with him to challenge either Shinya Hashimoto or Naoya Ogawa. It turned out to be Goldberg, who challenged both men for 1/4 at the Saitama Super Arena. The feeling in the building is it would be Goldberg vs. Ogawa or perhaps a tag team match.
Combat Zone Wrestling’s Cage of Death show drew nearly 1,000 fans to the old ECW Arena. There was a cage suspended in the air with a scaffold and a million thumb tacks, plus all sorts of weapons.
Dan Severn will be facing Mathias “Mad Dog” Hughes on 12/18 in Winnipeg which I believe is an MMA match that came off an angle at a pro wrestling show.
