The following are some highlights from a Steve Austin interview with TWG:
Austin noted that he recently met with Vince about his character. He has no complaints about the direction right now, but really wants to get very hands-on with his character development, since he’s no longer wrestling. He also noted that one of the main problems he sees with creative is that comedy has replaced seriousness.
Austin said that with his health right now, he’s not sure he will get to wrestle Goldberg, although he’d like to do it. He then stated that the ideal time for a match with Goldberg was a few years ago, but that obviously couldn’t happen.
