ESPN soundly held the number one spot on the Top 15 Cable Programs for the week ending on 9/21/03. It’s showing of the Bills against the Dolphins drew in over a whopping 7.8 million viewers, while the nearest competition came from…that’s right, ESPN again with their NFL Prime Time show that brought in slightly over 3.2 million viewers.
WWE and TNN took the third and fifth spots on the list with the second hour of RAW drawing in just a hair under 3.5 million viewers and the first hour of RAW attracting just a hair under 3 million viewers. Who took the fourth place spot you ask? Everyone’s lovable, huggable sponge, SpongeBob SquarePants – who drew in about 3.2 million viewers.
So, there you go folks. It’s most definitely football season, but the WWE still remains strong on the Top 15 list – as does SpongeBob SquarePants who took the number 4, 6, and 14 spots. Law & Order (TNT) and Fairly Odd Parents (NICK) had respectable showings on the list as well.
