Unforgiven opens with a vignette dedicated to Goldberg vs. HHH.
First match is La Resistance vs. The Dudleys in a handicapped, title-match. Spike Dudley is out to sell the table injuries.
The Dudleys come to the ring first.
Rene Dupree starts off against D’Von. They exchange punches, but D’Von gets a quick advantage. Dupree reverses an irish whip, sending D’Von into the corner, but D’Von answers with an elbow.
D’Von gets forced into the La Reistance corner, with Rob Conway tagged in. D’Von gets back in control, hitting Conway off the ropes, followed by a leg drop. Bubba then holds Conway against the ropes, allowing D’Von to get a free shot. However, Conway ducks and D’Von almost hits Bubba. Bubba’s tagged in and sets Conway upside down from the corner, going to work on his upper body.
Bubba knocks Conway to the mat with a clothesline, and sets all three members of La Resistance up in his corner, and hits them all, leaving himself and Dupree in the ring.
