Orton gets HBK to the outside, and he and Flair double-team on HBK’s shoulder. The match moves back into the ring and Orton continues to work hard on HBK’s shoulder.
Orton still can’t get a three-count on HBK yet. HBK eventually shows signs of turning things around and eventually gets a Lou Thesz press on Orton.
They get to their feet and HBK hits Orton with a cross body. HBK continues with an atomic drop, followed by a series of one-punch knockdowns. Flair gets on the apron, and HBK punches him right off. HBK moves back towards Orton and then tosses him to the outside.
HBK goes up to the top rope and Flair tries to knock HBK off, but fails. HBK then hits Orton off the top, but can only score a two-count.
Match moves on, and Orton ends up on his feet, with HBK back-down on the mat. Orton tries to jump off the top rope onto HBK, but HBK gets his foot up, taking out Orton. He sets up for some sweet chin music, but Orton catches the foot and gets the R-K-O.
He has to struggle to get over to cover HBK, and HBK ends up kicking out at 2.9999.
HBK eventually goes for the top again, but Flair gets to HBK. HBK knocks Flair off the apron, and then hits Orton with a flying elbow. He rolls over holding his elbow, so you know he’s not getting the three count. He doesn’t.
