New Japan officially announced that Hulk Hogan will be taking on Masahiro Chono at the Tokyo Dome on October 13, 2003. This will be Hogan’s first wrestling match since appearing as Mr. America, teaming with Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar against Big Show, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin at WWE’s Smackdown taping in Madison Square Garden on June 24, 2003. This will be Hogan’s first match in Japan in nearly 10 years.
Matches announced for the show are:
– Hulk Hogan vs. Masahiro Chono.
– IWGP Champion Yoshihiro Takayama vs. Hiroyoshi Tenzan.
– King Of Pancrase Champion Josh Barnett vs. Yoshiki Takahashi.
– A Junior Heavyweight Royal Rumble.
