Thanks to Dave Martin for the following:
The crowd was hot and into the action.
-The crowd was not happy with a Austin no-show.
-RVD had the crowd in his hand.
-The place erupted when Goldberg came out.
Kane just looked down at Eric and walked off. They turned some bright lights on the section where Eric was laying. Flair received lots of WHOO’s as he left, HHH received silence. It took a long time for RVD to even move. A few refs were checking on him.
-After the event, we went outside to see the guys leave & get autographs. Here’s another lesson that some WWE guys can learn. The Dudleys, Tommy Dreamer were awesome signing things, taking pictures, etc. That’s something that they must have learned from ECW. Lillian did the same (she’s so nice in person), as did Rico, and surprisingly the best was La Resistance. They joked with the crowd, posed for photos, autographed everything. Rene is short in stature, but his body is awesome in person. He really takes care of himself. Steiner didn’t wave to the crowd or come over at all, Trish waved and got in her car and left.
Thanks to William Sonneville for the following:
After the show went off the air, Kane left fairly quickly. Then Evolution left and Triple H held up the belt to a mixed reaction. RVD was the last to leave and got a monster pop as he was leaving. A few minutes went by and then they showed Eric Bischoff getting loaded into an ambulance.
I was severely disappointed that Stone Cold was not at the show. Otherwise, the show was fairly good. WWE needs to figure out how to use Goldberg properly, and they need to do it quick.
