– As reported, Sting has a four-show contract with NWA:TNA. This is the main reason why TNA is airing things such as a “paintless shoot interview” with Sting. They want to keep tremendous interest and hype on Sting for 2-3 months, even though he will only wrestle four (three more since he worked one already) shows (meaning, they may have weeks where only a promo or vignette airs). This way, they’ll get the best “bang for the buck” with Sting, in case he doesn’t sign a contract extension.
– Right now, it looks like the possibility of him in WWE has been halted. WWE no longer expects him this summer, but would love to sign him down the road.
