RingSideMAYHEM.com will be doing an exclusive interview with former WCW wrestler Lodi one half of The West Hollywood Blonds. If you would like to ask Lodi a question/s click here. Not sure who Lodi is and would like some information about the former WCW superstar? Here is some information on him:
From the flamboyant city known as West Hollywood, California, Lenny and Lodi have been called one of the most controversial teams to ever compete in the squared circle. After being yanked from WCW television for what the company deemed “behaviour too offensive,” Lenny and Lodi are back together again in the WWA.
While we have seen them with different names, looks, and personalities, one thing has always been a constant with Lenny Lane and Lodi. They are always entertaining to the fans, and a team not to be taken lightly by their opponents.
With their goal is to become the next Tag Team Champions, their accomplishments as singles competitors speak for themselves. Lenny Lane has worked his way up to through the ranks, capturing the WCW Cruiserweight Champion by defeating Rey Mysterio, Jr. in August of 1999. While never capturing WCW gold, Lodi is credited as a vital part of the success that was attained by Raven’s Flock in much of 1998. Lodi was also responsible for providing entertainment at ringside with his various signs he would hold up during different matches.
After a brief absence, the team returned to American television with a completely different look. This time they had a change of attitude and a change of wardrobe as well. Decked out in designer suits along side of their secretary Miss Hancock, Lane and Lodi announced to the world that they had returned to WCW to rid the company of the filth and adult themes that they claimed were ruining the youth of America. They would now be known as Standards and Practices.
After disagreements with Miss Hancock, the twosome had a change of heart, and decided to focus on their true love, themselves. Today their minds are focused on two things, and only one of them has to do with wrestling.
