WWE are hoping to give Rico a possible stint with the Intercontinental Championship. This is the main reason why the company decided to split Rico off from 3-Minute Warning and give him Jackie Gayda as a valet.
The HBO piece on drugs related deaths in wrestling was aired last night. Reports are already suggesting that the show was very damaging for the WWE and especially Vince McMahon who sounded genuinely pissed off throughout the show. Vince decided to play out the interview in his ‘Mr McMahon’ character, as well as making funny noises and faces throughout the show. Many believe that someone else should have been sent in McMahon’s place, possibly Jim Ross as he could of kept his cool better than McMahon did.
