Paul Bearer released a column on the Kane/de-masking angle over at percypringle.com:
He went with the angle that Kane was “short-changed” by WWE management, with its main focus always on Undertaker. He feels that Kane never was fully able to reach the top, always in the shadow of Undertaker. Bearer was disappointed with this, since Kane always was a “company-man” and worked to the best of his ability.
He feels that this is a continuation of Kane’s road to the end, and not a new beginning for him. Unless there’s some amazing thing planned, Bearer feels robbed with what happened.
