Ugh, am I going to enjoy this…
What is it about professional wrestling that it has taken such a huge standpoint on the Internet? Why do a bunch of 13 year old kids who have no talent call themselves wrestling insiders and open their own free websites on Anglefire, or get the free domains from Name Zero? Do they expect to have the next RajahWWF.com or TPWW.net or something? I mean no disrespect to Balrog’s site, cause I am not referring to this site in this editorial. Unlike other sites, this site actually has the respect that any reliable Internet site should have. This site doesn’t give you the bullshit that wrestling sites such as IO Wrestling gives you. And you sure as hell don’t have the 13 year old kiddies working here, that care only about themselves and their sites.
What I always wondered is, the Fred Cooks, the Jeremy Bratchers, the Jon Farrers, what the hell kind of lives do they have? You got this Fred Cook jackass who owns his precious Innovators of Wrestling site. Innovators huh? Does Fred Cook’s site have the late breaking wrestling news that is exclusive to his site? No. Does his site have the important news developments posted before 1 Wrestling or Pro Wrestling Torch does? No. So what is so innovative about his site? Maybe because it sets the example of what a bullshit wrestling website is all about.
Fred Cook isn’t the only bad person out there. Along with Cook, how many other newsboard reporters false advertise their site in a little plug on newsboards at other sites? What is it about wrestling, that most sites are nothing but cheap garbage imitations of WWF.com, 1Wrestling.com, and RajahWWF.com? I have never gone to ESPN.com, read a baseball story and at the end read a plug saying “Randy Johnson retires from baseball, will become a quarterback for the New Orleans Saints! Click here NOW!!!!!” Well I hate to break it to you, but that is how bad some wrestling plugs are. And why? So these kids can attract more visitors to their sites. When some innocent person is reading a news article, and sees a plug with a story that has their interest. They click the link, go to that website, but can’t find the story they are looking for. Why not? Cause the story in the plug was a fake!
So who are these people who do stuff like that? Well, let’s take a Fred Cook for example. I have heard some of the things that Fred Cook has done. And from my understanding, Fred Cook use to be part of this website. Oh yeah before I continue, I am not picking on Fred Cook cause he use to work here. I have disliked this guy since I began doing this stinking shit on the Internet. Fred Cook instant messaged one of my online friends who is African American. Cook called him the “n” word. Cook has screwed people out of reporting jobs, has spammed message boards at other people’s sites.
By the way, I am not just talking about Fred Cook here. He is just an example. But this also describes many other webmasters and reporters who are the same way.
These types of people don’t have lives. They went to school and got made fun of everyday by the cool kids. These kids ate lunch by themselves, didn’t play with anyone at recess. When they needed a partner for a school project, they paired up with the teachers. And if they are grown up now doing it, they are people who have absolutely no power in life. So what do they do? They come online, talk big, say they are rich, act like they are popular where they live! They talk the talk, and people who don’t know any better believe them. Then you got the innocent people who actually do enjoy the entertainment that is wrestling, and want to report for the joy of it. But they can’t get on the big sites. Why not? Cause they can’t get a break because of the Fred Cooks out there!
Face it, if you want to get your name and/or site known on the net, you got to either have reliable sources that are truly insiders, or the other choice….. the other choice is to become a fucking cheat ass scammer who is nothing but a fraud. So to all the newcomers out there who want to make a name for yourselves, realize this, its it truly worth it? If I could start all over again, I would not have made the choice I have made. I would not have become a newsboard reporter. It was a waste of time. I wasn’t going to false plug a site, or anything, and that is why I am not a big time person on the ‘net. Those reporters out there are exactly like politicians. I feel really comfortable knowing these 13 year old kids who do all this bullshit online, will someday be part of our Congress doing the same old shit up there!
But I think I have more to be proud of then a Fred Cook. I am writing editorials at a site that has been around for many years, has a huge fan base who comes back for the same reliable information they come to expect. I also write a news column, that I like to call “the lighter side of wrestling news.” There is no bullshit in it, it’s my analysis, my take on the wrestling world, with the reliable news and rumors included.
Oh by the way, If you are a friend of Fred Cook, and want to tattle on me, go right ahead. It will show that you are probably some low person online who is trying to get on his side and looking for a job at his site. You are probably someone that sucks up to him all the time, and would be willing to have massive sex with him and give him his most pleasurable orgy, just for a fucking wrestling newsboard reporter spot. Hey, it’s your life.
In conclusion, you can see that the state of Internet wrestling bothers the hell out of me. That is why I don’t report on newsboards, that is why I write editorials. That is why I don’t interact with those egomaniacs. And that is why you will never ever see me false advertise something at the end of a post of mine. These crooks have been at large enough, and yet most people go to their sites, therefore giving them hits, and making them money. Hey, as long as I am enjoying myself, that is all I care about. Cause, isn’t that what this all is suppose to be about?
Sidenote: In my previous column in the Bum of the Week section, I mentioned Buff Bagwell didn’t want to lose his match to Steve Cornio at the Pillman Show. I thank everyone who e-mailed me to let me know of my error, as it was the MECW show that Bagwell was scheduled to lose to Corino.
