Hi everyone. Expect the next couple of updates to be late like this one is. Think of it as an evening update!
Well, it looks like Bischoff really has it in for Flair! In that infamous locker room interview that he had before filing suit against Flair, Bischoff reportedly told his workers that Flair cannot show up whenever he wanted to and that he can no longer dictate things like he did in the past. I guess that this thing may actually lead to Flair’s contract breaking up…it could be WWF time for this former champion.
One of the many injuries in the wrestling world, Ric Martel’s injury seems to be healing faster than expected. Martel was suspected to be out for a year, but through great physical therapy, it looks like he will be back in the ring within the next three to four months. This proves that if you keep yourself in great shape, even a career-threatening injury is possible to overcome. Good luck, Ric!
Goodbye to a great…Miss Elizabeth is leaving the wrestling scene as she and her husband are anxious to start a family. Good luck, Miss Elizabeth!
Just like every week, RAW is expected to pull out all of the stops on Monday. It is notable that RAW has done very well in the ratings as of late. They pulled a 4.4 this past Monday with a taped RAW, which is really good for a live show for either organization. Congratulations to both the WWF and the WCW for making wrestling a big-time television event!
This summer should be big for wrestling as we have been hinted with a Hogan/Nash feud, a Steve Regal in the WWF debut, and an X-Pac return. Also, there is always that basketball ball star that is too sweet…
It is expected that Bischoff will get the tag team titles away from the Outsiders in the coming weeks. If Sting and Giant don’t take it at the PPV, look for Bischoff to strip them from the Outsiders afterwards.
There are sketchy reports that while on a Mexican talk show, Rey Mysterio Jr. claimed that he wanted to go to the WWF to compete against Taka, Kamikaze, Christopher, and Aguila. Rey would be legally able to do so in the coming months.
Hogan’s news movie bombed big time. Most theaters are pulling it from the screen.
That’s it for today. Check the columns section for a new writer! Bye!!!
