“RAW WINS, RAW WINS, RAW WINS!!!”
I can just imagine ol’ JR at Titan Towers screaming that phrase all day yesterday! Good for them, they deserve to win.
Even though this is as big as it gets for the WWF, the WCW has some moving and shaking go on as well…The 13 time Heavyweight Champion of the World has been let go by Bischoff. Apparently, Bischoff is claiming that Flair ruined the streak by not being at Thunder to hype a Monday NITRO appearance of the Horsemen. Hey Bischoff, the WWF just put on a better show. There are other reports about this story on the net, they all have a little different piece of info, check them out as this could be big!
Okay, I’ve been on the telephone and basically I got nothing concrete from the sources. I did get that the WWF is ecstatic over the ratings, but that they are taking everything in stride as they are looking to produce a blockbuster RAW for next Monday. Even though it is taped, they are looking to make it a good one.
Meanwhile, my source off the WCW side tells me that Bischoff is putting the blame on anyone who will take it (i.e. Ric Flair). The source tells me that Eric wants to put together a Thunder that will be focused on getting people to watch NITRO. Well, that remains to be seen.
Look for Malenko to come back soon with a new gimmick. It is odd that he would agree to comeback to an organization that he is at odds with…title change?
There are rumors that the whole story about McMahon offering $1.5 million to each of the Outsiders is false. I would think that it is not true as McMahon would have to up everyone else’s contracts, then.
That’s that! If there are any new stories that break, I’ll be here!
Bye!!!
