The WWF is looking to make Steve Regal and Dave Taylor as big as The British Bulldog in the old United Kingdom. It is a known fact that England’s own Davey Boy Smith is one of the biggest names to ever compete in the squared circle. The WWF feels that they have something to do with that so they think that they can do the same for Regal and Taylor while still gaining some European numbers.
In case you live under a rock, the WCW and the Ultimate Warrior are near a deal. The WCW is very tentative to sign him because they want him to job to Goldberg…
There have been rumors that a notable WCW Cruiserweight will be in attendance at Wrestlemania. I wouldn’t sit too closer to the screen, though, as I don’t see it happening.
Straight from Bob Ryder himself…
SEAN WALTMAN AGREES TO JOIN WWF Sean Waltman reached an agreement with the WWF on Tuesday of this week, and will return to the company that launched him to national attention as 1-2-3 Kid. Waltman has received a contract from the WWF, and his attorney’s are reviewing the terms of the agreement. When contacted by 1Wrestling.com today, Waltman confirmed that he has reached a verbal agreement with the WWF, but says he does not know his start date. Waltman said his guarantee is for substantially more money than he was making at WCW, and that the agreement is for four years with a downside guarantee. Waltman is continuing rehab of his neck, which was operated on late last year after he suffered an injury while working for WCW. Doctors have told Waltman that his neck will be 100% after rehab, and Waltman says he expects to be ready to return to the ring in about 2 months. Waltman said he may appear in the WWF earlier than that to do interviews prior to returning to action in the ring. Waltman was terminated by WCW earlier this month in what has been described as an effort on the part of WCW President Eric Bischoff to “send a message” to Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Nash, in a Prodigy chat, had held out hope that Waltman might return, but Waltman said he has not had any contact with Bischoff since receiving the termination via Fedex.
Well, like that?
That’s more than enough for you all to think about. Remember to get the final hits on the sponsor today as we are nearing the end of the month.
Bye!!!
