I must admit that I am a little biased here because the nWo makes me sick. They are a bunch of poor workers that band together and put the work load on the shoulders of Bagwell, Hall, and Hennig. It’s ridiculous! Anyhow, people are starting to talk about the end of the nWo and here is how I think it should happen.
Let’s have the nWo end at a PPV (Souled Out). Hogan goes out there to try to wrest the title from Sting (or whoever has the title) and loses. Afterwards, he gets beaten by the nWo and is kicked out. Eric grabs the mic and goes off, “Why did I ever buy you? You only work four days a year! Waste of money! Yada yada yada!!!”
Hogan is lying on the floor when his longtime friend, Beefcake comes out to help him up. He gets beaten. Duggan comes out, gets beaten. The nWo gets on the mic and tells the arena that if anyone else wants to get a piece, come and get it! Of course Ray Traylor and the Steiners with Teddy come out and stand in the walkway. Behind them walk out the Giant and Luger, Harlem Heat, Rey Mysterio Jr., and Bret Hart with the Anvil and the Bulldog. These 12 men advance towards the ring. A battle ensues…
Sting comes back out after regaining the title to witness that the WCW is losing to the new nWo (Hogan and company have retreated to the back). He looks at the ring and enters the fray.
Lefts are thrown, rights are thrown, a mess in the ring!!!
The nWo starts to get the definitive advantage over the WCW crew, but the WCWers are fighting like hell. What’s this? The crowd looks to the entrance way and they ERUPT! Who could it be?
Standing at the entrance way armed with black metal baseball bats…they have returned…The Four Horsemen!
Flair, Anderson, Mongo, Benoit! They slowly walk towards the ring. Anderson, obviously, stays on the outside. Bats start flying! One member, two members, three, four! The nWo goes flying from the ring. All to be met with bat stompings from Arn Anderson. The crowd is nuts.
After all is said and done, the nWo is carted away on stretchers and the WCW troops stand victorious in the ring. Fade to black…
What does this ending to the nWo accomplish? A few things, it turns Hogan instant face by having the most hated man in wrestling downgrade him (Bischoff). This way Hogan can either use his out clause and go home to the WWF or he can stay face and join the WCW legion. Also, this ending sets up the future of the WCW by having the Horsemen reborn and the Hart Foundation resurface. The WCW is united, the Horsemen are back, the Foundation is set in stone, the nWo is no longer! A great ending to the nWo that also sets up a good future for the WCW.
This has been the Balrog, signing off! Bye!!!
